TRADE SHOWS AND CONFERENCES

Trade shows have been around since medieval times, with their history tracing as far back as 12th century Europe.  While the format and accessibility of these events have changed over the past, the main goal has largely remained the same:  bringing buyers and sellers together in a central location to discover one another.  It is important to attend trade shows for the following reasons:

A chance to build your brand via product demonstrations, seminars, conferences, technology displays, hospitality and networking events.
The chance to interact with industry professionals in one location.
An ideal place to launch a new product
An opportunity to perform market research, learn more about future industry trends and evaluate the competition.
Plan on renting your booth space early to get the best rates and be able to select your location a few aisles from the main entrance.  Most booth sizes start at 10’ x 10’ and come without carpet , power or furnishings so plan ahead.  Tell your customers your booth number and location and invite them to visit with a show invitation.   Place a press release in the industry magazine with your booth location and number and give a seminar at the show if appropriate.

Design your booth with a colorful graphic consistent with your brand.   Have a headline that will catch attention quickly and demonstrate quickly your business.    A good way to attach your graphics is by using Velcro and you can incorporate tabletop displays or banner stands for effectively communicating your message.    Set your booth up the day before and be prepared with your own supplies, tape, wire, Velcro,  pliers, hammer, screwdriver, utility knife, paper towels and wipes

Make sure that your booth is staffed with knowledgeable people that can answer customers questions.  Collect as many business cards as you can and make notes about potential prospects.  After the show, be sure to follow up.

We can help you with signs, banners, posters, banner stands, displays, flyers, brochures, handouts, surveys, business cards, name badges, table covers, table top displays and promotional products.

Please call or email us with questions, to help with your next trade show planning or through our website to request a quote or to place an order.
