Announcing the Kendall Square Association Third Thursday Event Thursday January 17, 2013
5:00 - 7:30 p.m. American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts and HubSpot invite the KSA community to join in for some post-holiday cheer, food and conversation.
>>>>>>>Please RSVP here.<<<<<<<<<<<
Thursday, January 17, 2013 5:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. 139 Main Street in the Disaster Operations Center (first floor)
The Third Thursday event will spotlight the American Red Cross of Eastern MA, and refreshments and guaranteed good conversation provided by the inbound marketing evangelists of HubSpot. The American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts operates the largest food pantry in New England; provides disaster relief in the 181 communities in Eastern Massachusetts and educates thousands of adults, students and seniors about preparedness. The American Red Cross will help nearly 1,000 families this year who have lost everything after a disaster this year.
Last year, they teamed up with Hubspot to raise awareness for the local community and with Hubspot being the premier source of Inbound Marketing knowledge and successful implementation - I'd expect to see a lot of pairs of sox (sorry, socks) showing up.
BRING THE SOCKS- GET A CHANGE TO WIN A RAFFLE PRIZE!
Not Familiar with HubSpot? Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shaw, both MIT grads, founded the company with a mission to replace annoying, interruptive marketing with a better way! We've got a famous Halligan quote right at the door to our customer education area.
Inbound Marketing tools, Hubspot software; part of our dream team of Business Communications tools that work in today's fast paced environment.
I heard that the Red Cross team is planning on showing us the inside of a disaster recovery center. Given the pride and sense of humor of the Hubspotters, I wouldn't be surprised to see their interpretation of a business disaster recovery system right alongside the Red Cross' more serious presentations and set up.
Still, by 5pm on a Thirsty Third Thursday - a little humor might be called for. At Kendall PRess, we don't stage the events - we just help publicize them. You can sign up here -and take a chance on what you might see. Be assured of drink and food AND PLEASE BRING A PAIR OF SOCKS! THANK YOU.
